A unique opportunity exists for a driven Casual Retail Assistant at one of our store in Stepney.
Your positive and persistent approach to customer service and community engagement will see your success in this location. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter with the will to succeed, who is not afraid to pro-actively build relationships and drive sales.
Your "New" Day to Day:
- Proactively engage with each client and customer to ensure they have received an outstanding service offering. This will include providing advice, demonstrating, and recommending products in the showroom and/or over the phone, quoting and following up to ensure the end-to-end customer experience is achieved
- Build strong customer relationships by listening, questioning, communicating, and measuring your success through repeat sales from our customers and referrals from our customers
- Supporting the showroom team on the showroom floor when and as required.
- Product knowledge and demonstration – proactively look for self-learning opportunities to grow your knowledge
- Understand the wants and needs of the client and ensure you are matching product and services to meet those needs Customer Orders and quotations: Accurately process customer orders using the POS in store, email, phone and online orders.
- Accurately provide quotations and follow up in a timely manner, within 24 hours.
- Accurately input details of customers and referrers taking care to maintain accurate master data on all clients and orders.
- Process orders and quotes swiftly and engage with co-workers to facilitate timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Provide knowledgeable and prompt feedback to referral partners to ensure our service levels are maintained.
- Ensure accurate processing and documentation of all inventory to maintain accurate stock on hand.
- Accurately manage end-to-end administration requirements for hire equipment and proactively manage the extension or closure of hire products.
- Ensure the correct processes are followed when using the government funded portals

- You may have SAP experience, which is preferable to have.
- You will be a self-motivated, creative thinker, able to problem solve and seek out new opportunities
