Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our Burnside team. As an integral part of our Australian-owned retail business, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and promoting the unique French-inspired products that define our brand.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Drive sales and achieve store targets through effective merchandising and product knowledge.
- Provide leadership and support to the store team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Uphold the company's mission of creating joie de vivre through fashion, community, and lifestyle.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stock replenishment, to maintain optimal product availability.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail, preferably in a fashion or lifestyle-oriented setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Passion for French-inspired fashion, accessories, and homewares.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Working Hours: This is a part-time position with a commitment of 23 hours per week, providing an excellent work-life balance.
