Mooloolah River Fisheries (MRF) is a subsidiary of Superior Food Group. Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are currently seeking applications for experienced Retail Shop Assistants based on Sunshine Coast.
Overview
Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, we are currently looking for an experienced Retail Assistant on a casual basis to be able to work to a set roster with flexibility when needed.
Your day-to-day routine will look something like this:
- Providing every customer with personalised service.
- Selling and promoting our great range of products by engaging with customers.
- Assisting in maintaining and replenishing stock.
- Handling cash
- General kitchen duties and cleaning
- Demonstrating a high level of personal presentation.
- Working cohesively and proactively within a team.
- Handling seafood (including cooked and raw) and cleaning preparation areas
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
All about you:
- Prior sales/retail service experience will be preferred.
- Experience in handling seafood is advantageous.
- Friendly personality
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
- Punctual, reliable, and well-presented with an ability to work autonomously.
- Good attention to detail and a great team player.
- Knowledge of POS systems or similar
- Excellent communication skills
