We are looking for an engaging and dynamic banking/retail trainer who can engage, influence and partner with our leaders to proactively develop our teams.
Our Mission is to make our Members proud and we need you to help with facilitating training and development opportunities within the South East Region. Our Brisbane Administration Office and branches are at the centre of the region, with further branches located in Maleny, Booval, Riverlink, Jimboomba, Beaudesert and Stanthorpe. The role requires regular travel throughout the region, coaching on the job on a range of topics such as member experience, product knowledge, system usage, onboarding and general operational processes within our branches. This role is integral in the success of the region, and you will be liaising with a range of stakeholders including branch managers, regional managers and head office functions.

You are also part of the People & Culture, ensuring we create a great experience for our teams - our key talent. We call our trainers, Talent Coaches, as we nature our key talent - our staff.
About You
- You are self-motivated who wants to proactively support the development of our teams. You have awesome communication skills with an ability to remain flexible in the face of changing priorities and operational requirements.
- You are able to respect a range of stakeholders, and comfortable coaching and training on a broad range of topics.
- Ideally you have come from the Retail Banking network so you can work with our teams to service our members.
- Proven experience in a similar role in the financial service sales environment, preferably with exposure to consumer banking and lending;
- Working knowledge of Retail Banking operation including branch operations; member interactions; working within CRM; recommending products; cash handling and compliance requirements;
- Proven ability to converse with a range of stakeholders including front line; support and management;
- Proficient in Microsoft packages including Outlook; Work. Excel; Teams and Powerpoint;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong business acumen and the ability to respond to operational requirements; and
- Knowledge of adult learning & coaching principles.
