Minimum requirements a successful candidate will possess are:

• Live in Brisbane CBD or Surrounds & GC
• Able to travel to Brisbane and Surrounding suburbs
• Certificate II in Security Operations
• Valid Security License & First Aid Certificate
• Able to remain calm under pressure and communicate effectively
• Ability to work with Nexar Group 10+ hours per week ongoing. We are not looking for casual employees.
• Ability to work across 5 to 7 days per week shift lengths of min 4hrs - max 12hrs
• Ability to work across shopping centres and retail stores

Multiple Roles and Positions available - Retail/Banking Security

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Ability to support Nexar Group with 10+ hours per week across 4 to 7 day roster.
• Will be good with Customers and Clients
• Liaising with police and emergency response services when necessary
• Be able to verbally de-escalate any situation
• Risk identification and issue resolution
• Adaptable to any situations that arise
• Be able to deter theft and report missing assets
• Work autonomously and in a group

You will have:

• Good customer and client service skills
• Good written and verbal communication 
• Reporting ability to supervisor
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a collaborative way.
• Demonstrated ability to apply ethical standards to decisions made on a day to day basis.
• Physical capacity to perform the duties of the position including patrolling, responding and restraining persons.
• Current First Aid certificate
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills a must.

Minimum requirements a successful candidate will possess are:

• Certificate II in Security Operations
• Valid Security License & First Aid Certificate
• Full, unlimited right-to-work in Australia
• Ability to work days and/or nights
• ASIC Clearance (RED ASIC)
