Our client, Maa Durgajee Pty Ltd t/a Mobil Goulburn, operates a retail fuel centre with convenience stores under the brand of Mobil (an independent, Australian-owned petrol and convenience company) in Goulburn, NSW. The client is looking for a highly motivated full time Retail Manager who has a passion for retail, a love of customers and a drive to deliver results to join the team in business.The Retail Manager will be responsible for the operation and management of the store. As Retail Manager, you will drive sales and lead our retail team to achieve all aspects of the store's performance, ensuring that every customer is given an outstanding experience.
The managerial and administrative aspect of your role will encompass determining product mix, stock levels and service standards, selling goods, maintaining records of stock, financial transactions and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.Minimum Requirements:
AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the relevant field
3+ years' experience in a similar roleIn this role your main responsibilities include:
- Formulate and implement purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices
- Create and deliver daily plans and strategies to ensure store & individual budgets/targets are achieved
- Daily management of stock to minimise out of stocks, stock loss and maximise sales
- Manage, support and develop your team to drive performance
- Execute & manage visual merchandising within the store
- Manage and prepare budget reports, rosters, stock take and ordering
- Promote and advertise the establishment's goods and services
- Deal with queries, complaints and feedback from customers
- Analyze sales figures and forecasting future sales
- Maintain awareness of market trends and monitoring competitors
- Maintain records of financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Oversee all operational aspects of the store such as stock control & rosters
