About The role:
As the Retail Manager responsible for overseeing of large-format retail and online stores, you will be a key member of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in expanding our retail presence, enhancing customer experiences, and aligning our sales strategies across both our in-store and online formats. Your deep understanding of current market trends in retail management, merchandising, and promotions, will be crucial in achieving our growth objectives.
About the opportunity:
- Manage instore and online sales programs and activities with a business to consumer focus (B2C);
- Positively support the implementation of the business' strategic plans and marketing strategies;
- Continuously analyse market trends, customer feedback and competitor activities to make decisions and enhance our product offerings accordingly;
- Take charge of leading, managing, and motivating dedicated retail and digital teams to drive strategic initiatives and achieve organisational goals;
- Collaborate closely with the management team to ensure seamless coordination across different areas of the business;
- Partner with Group Marketing and oversee the implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns to drive traffic to both online and in store;
- Develop and maintain industry-leading merchandising standards in our in-store retail operations;
- Monitor and manage pricing strategies to enhance market competitiveness and positioning;
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking new partnerships to expand our product range and improve supplier terms; and
- Develop and implement customer-centric initiatives to improve customer loyalty, satisfaction, and retention.
About you:
- Previous experience as a Retail Store Manager in a high-volume retail environment, ideally within the industrial market is preferred;
- Display confident leadership - you can coach, motivate, and inspire a team to achieve excellence;
- Create a positive and inspiring environment for our customers and staff;
- Employ exceptional customer focus and service;
- Be able to drive sales and team KPIs;
- A desire to challenge and further develop yourself to achieve company and personal objectives through continual improvement;
- Maintain store presentation standards and brand awareness;
- The ability to foster strong relationships with team members, peers, customers, leaders, and business stakeholders; and
- Demonstrated experience in budget and financial management.
