The Position
As a Vinnies Shop Manager, you will be responsible for the overall quality management and operation of the Vinnies Shop. Leading a team of employees and dedicated volunteers you will ensure our customers and supporters receive an exceptional and unique retail experience whilst managing the logistical operations in relation to the volume of donations.
These roles are being offered on a full-time basis. Some roles require weekend work and penalty rates will apply if applicable.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience as a Retail Manager/Team Leader or Operations/Service Manager, and see this as more than a job. You will be innovative, adaptive with a high level of determination and possess a commitment to deliver on the goals of our shops. You will have a real ability to lead from the front, managing a team across all aspects of operations will be the key to your success.
You will have an engaging personality with the proven communication and interpersonal skills, including a flair for retail merchandising along with a knowledge of clothing brands. Your demonstrated experience leading teams, building a positive culture, and delivering on the core values of an organisation are essential.
Whilst previous retailing experience would be highly regarded, proven expertise leading teams to deliver products and services within a customer centric environment would be considered, for example as a Branch Manager covering operations, financial services/customers service or similar or a Duty Manager within a community club.
