Join JLL as our Retail Property/ Centre Manager for a thriving inner-city shopping centre offering a variety of familiar retailers, being the go-to destination for the local community.
The role is offered part-time, 1-2 days a week and we are flexible with the specific days worked. You can also mix things up and work from the centre and from our JLL Canberra office.
A snapshot of the role:
- Deliver the Centres business plan objectives and budget
- Manage relationships with clients, tenants and internal/ external stakeholders
- Oversee centre operations. Ensure staff and contractors are working in adherence to all OH&S requirements
- Keeping on top of and reducing any arrears
- Ensure tenancy schedules are accurate and updated
- Timely reporting and input to the marketing strategy
- Assisting the JLL leasing team in order to secure new lessees for the centre
- Induct tenant contractors and assist them with the fit-out process
- Confirm that all retailers, contractors, casual mall lessees have appropriate and required public liability, insurance cover, business legislation, WH&S etc.
- Any other duties as required
Before you apply it's also worth knowing what we are looking for:
Shopping Centre Management experience is preferred as initially you will need to work independently setting your own tasks.
Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential, and you are able to interact confidently and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven financial capabilities and computer literacy skills will be needed and you hold a real estate licence/ certification of registration.
Furthermore, you love a challenge, are tenacious and resilient with a ‘I won’t give up attitude’, determined to accomplish only the very best outcomes.
