Retail Media Director

Our client is an international leader in Retail Media marketing and needs a Director to spearhead their growth and innovation in the Australian market. This pivotal role combines strategic leadership with a deep understanding of Retail Media solutions, targeting ambitious sales growth and a culture of excellence. What You'll Do:

• Craft and Execute Sales Strategy: Develop strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious revenue and profitability goals. Identify and pursue expansion opportunities, leveraging your understanding of Retail Media trends and consumer behavior.
• Lead and Develop the Sales Team: Provide inspirational leadership, setting clear objectives and performance targets. Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Champion Retail Media Business Development: Align Retail Media strategies with our business goals, maximizing ROI and driving revenue growth through innovative initiatives.
• Enhance Client Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers, delivering tailored solutions that drive tangible results and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate for Success: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated Retail Media offerings and ensure seamless execution of client projects.
• Commercial Negotiation and Strategy: Develop and implement sophisticated commercial strategies, including revenue-sharing models, to create value for Mood Media, its clients, and their customers.

What We're Looking For:

• A proven leader with at least 5 years of experience in sales and account management within the retail marketing or advertising industry.
• Expertise in Retail Media solutions and consumer behaviour trends.
• Exceptional team leadership, able to inspire and guide towards common goals.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, confident in engaging at all levels.
• A results-oriented approach, with a history of achieving ambitious sales targets.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Technical fluency in retail marketing technology.
