We are seeking a dynamic Retail Merchandising Services Territory Manager on full time basis based in Adelaide who can drive sustainable wholesale and retail sales through quality service and who can strategically represent the best interests of Metcash, retailers and vendor partners .
What you’ll do
Negotiate RMS terms with retailers & determine service levels, hours & frequency
Ensure service levels are adjusted to suit seasonal stores’ peak trade and reduced for out of season
Develop & manage relationships with retailers; Multi Store / Single Store Owners (Managers / Buyers / Owners)
Responsible for delivering and measuring the impact of monthly vendor field focus drives; liaise with respective vendor locally, if applicable, to maximise opportunities
Resource allocation of service hours & frequency by store – ensure call cycle efficiencies
Liaise with National and State Merchandise teams (retailer facing issues, opportunities & feedback); provide category insights to National Trading Managers, assist with category strategies and range review execution.
