The Northside Dentist has outgrown our little practice on High Street and will be expanding in the this year. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Oral Health Therapist/Hygienist to join us, starting immediately, on a part-time basis. Initially you will work Monday and Tuesdays, with the potential for full-time employment when our second surgery opens!
This will allow the successful candidates to familiarise themselves with our patient base and practice ethos before taking on the full time position as your books grow.
Our practice prides itself on being modern and equipped with state-of-the-art technology ready to use. With digital radiographs, OPG, iTero scanner and an intraoral camera, you will have access to the latest tools for accurate diagnoses and treatment planning
Our practice:
- Is a busy, established dental practice on High Street, Thornbury.
- We provide comprehensive services, both general and cosmetic dentistry, including crowns, bridges, implants, endodontic treatment, teeth whitening, clear aligners, paediatric dentistry in a friendly, professional environment.
- We are focused on changing the perception of dentistry to patient’s and create a relaxed, warm environment for people to enjoy.
- We’re a knowledgeable and friendly team who work together to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
- Open Monday - Saturday and you will be required to work at least every second Saturday morning which can be discussed when we meet you.
Role for our future OHT or Hygienist:
- You will need to be fully qualified as an Oral Health Therapist or Hygienist with a minimum of 2 years experience working in Australian private/public sector or within the UK, NZ or Canada.
- Professional, punctual and reliable with plenty of drive.
- Can work efficiently in a team environment.
- Has a high standard of care to all patients, well developed interpersonal skills which enable you to relate easily to a wide range of people and maintain high standards of infection control at all times.
- Someone who will fit into our small team, with enthusiasm and drive. You must be willing to learn and utilise patient management skills, follow our vision/mission statements and written protocols. Adequate in house training will be provided to the successful candidates.
Remuneration:
We offer excellent earning potential with a generous percentage of earnings for OHT/hygienist will earn above award wages.
