About the role…
Fleming’s Nurseries QLD Sales Coordinator is a central role within the administration department of our busy production nursery. This role works to ensure sales targets are met by working closely with our customer base which extends across the garden retail, chain store and commercial orchard industries as well as a series of other smaller industry segments.
The person in this role will quickly develop a good understanding of our products, our brand and our offer and will be eager to drive outcomes that coincide with our pillars, our resources and our vision while seeking to meet forecasts and budgets.
Communication is a fundamental key to success, therefore maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external contacts is a major component of this role.
The doing….
Sales and Customer Service Duties:
- Manage and develop valued relationships with customers finding ways to engage and increase sales,
- Site, customer and store visits,
- Work closely with our administrations team members (ie: sales and finance),
- Prepare call and sales lists to support the achievement of planned sales objectives,
- Attendance at industry events and networking days,
- Other duties as required and requested by supervisors and management.
