Address We’re seeking an organised and self-motivated Retail Sales Team Leader to join our Brickworks Design Centre in Deer Park, Victoria.
Reporting to the Retail Manager you will manage and motivate a team of Retail Sales Consultants to offer superior customer service and effectively sell Brickworks Building Products.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Team Leadership: Lead a small dynamic team of Retail Sales Consultants at our Retail Centre.
• Sales and Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, including event planning.
• Budget Achievement: Achieve sales budgets and operational cost targets, ensuring cost control.
• Colour Consultations: Maintain a strong focus on colour consultations.
• Safety and Environment: Ensure a safe and tidy environment for customers and staff at all retail and call centres.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including retail customers, architects, builders, developers, and accounts.
• Staff Management: Manage staff rosters and leave approvals to maintain full-service levels.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service via phone, face-to-face, and email interactions.
• Visual Presentation: Maintain consistent signage and up-to-date product displays in line with Brickworks brand guidelines.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee daily banking, petty cash, and monitor competitor activity, along with customer feedback and trends.
• Compliance and Process Improvement: Maintain knowledge and compliance with the Trade Practices Act, and develop/implement tools, guidelines, and processes for an enhanced customer experience.
Success Requirements
• Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
• Expertise in Customer Order Systems.
• Ability to provide technical advice on colour selections.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience leading a successful team.
