Our aim is to be the gateway to the world of tea, creating memorable blends for everyone to enjoy and explore.We are looking for a dynamic and professional Store Manager to manage our flagship store at the South Melbourne Market, ensuring the smooth running of its daily operations and drive profitability. We are looking for someone with:
- Café and/or Retail management experience
- Strong sales skills and ability to grow our current database of regular customers to increase overall sales.
- A genuine passion for providing outstanding service to our loyal customers.
- The ability to calmly manage a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in labour product cost management.
- The ability to maintain the morale of the venue and motivate the team.
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate (Don't worry if you don't have one, we will help you complete the course training) If you think that you're that awesome Store Manager with a passion for speciality tea and a superstar in customer service, then we want you! - Act as a constant role model for our team and continue to build a positive and supportive culture and comradery that our store is renowned for
- Ensure the daily service is run to a high standard consistently and efficiently.
- Manage stock control and inventory.
- Manage staffing and wage costs (prepare rosters, assign specific duties)
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, licensing, hygiene and health & safety legislation.
- Manage staff performance, provide constructive feedback as required, identify weaknesses, and provide training as appropriate.
- Identify and determine areas for cost reduction and improvement.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of store, work areas, equipment, utensils and other necessary items.
We would ideally like someone who wants to contribute to Tea Drop and who wants to grow and develop with a supportive and dynamic company over the long term. You will require full working rights in Australia.
