The primary skills and requirements:
A Customer first focus

Basic financial acumen, including wage and cost control

Previous experience and knowledge of pet products and accessories would be beneficial, but not essential if you have the desire to develop your knowledge whilst working within a friendly team environment.

Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Retail Store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the store's staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets. The Retail Store Manager will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Retail Store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability
Hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and adhere to company policies and procedures
Monitor inventory levels and order products as needed to ensure adequate stock levels
Manage budgets and expenses, ensuring the store operates within financial guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively and in compliance with company standards
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing staff
