As the Retail Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for the efficient and profitable running of the Hotel bottle shop.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Supporting the management team by supervising the daily operation of the Retail area
- Coordinating the ongoing cleanliness and maintenance of cellar or liquor store areas and equipment
- Preparing displays and presenting stock, including specials and accurate ticket writing
- Ensuring competitive stock pricing and maintaining stock control
- Participating in the review, development, and marketing of innovative services / promotional initiatives to maintain an edge in the marketplace and grow the business
- Providing direct supervision of team members
- Ensuring the financial profitability of the Retail operations by maintaining wages, GP, and turnover in line with the agreed budget.
- Observing and complying with relevant Legislation, Regulations, and Waymark Policies and Procedures
The following skills, behaviours, and qualifications are essential:
- 3 years experience in Liquor Retail Management would be desired but not essential
- Demonstrates a highly focused attitude to internal and external customer needs, responding proactively to needs at all times
- Ability to direct and lead team members and maintain responsible and efficient staffing levels
- Confident hands-on Retail Supervisor with a proven track record
- Passionate about the hospitality industry and delivering exceptional customer service.
