About This Role:
Wilson Security have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Retail Security Supervisor. The person we are seeking will be leading the team of Security Officers on site. The Site Supervisor is given full accountability for overseeing the operation and performance of a designated site(s), and is an important conduit of information to State Operations Management. The site supervisory duties include, but are not limited, to ensuring the administration of the team is of a high standard and that records of duties, training matrices and other reporting requirements are met. The Site Supervisor will lead the team by example and be the first point of contact in the Supervisory/Management chain. The Site Supervisor is entrusted with the responsibility of safeguarding people and property. By providing these services, the role aims to create a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities of the role:
* Leadership and Team development - Lead and develop a team of Security Officers fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
* Operational Oversight - Manage and oversee all security operations for the site, ensuring adherence to procedures and protocols.
* Training and Compliance - Train security officers on site procedures and protocols, ensuring that all security measures are properly implemented and followed.
* Incident Response and Emergency Management - Respond to security incidents, manage emergency situations effectively, and maintain accurate records of security operations.
* Collaborative approach - Collaborate with site management and other departments to address security issues and concerns. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that security standards are being met.
* Access Control - Monitor and control access to sites, ensuring that only authorised personnel are allowed entry.
* Media Liaison - Act as a point of contact for media inquiries related to security matters, providing timely and accurate information while adhering to organizational protocols and guidelines.
To be considered for this position, you will have:
* Industry Experience: Previous experience in a security-aligned business or similar role is required.
* Supervisory Experience: Preferably 1 year or more experience in a supervisory capacity.
* Licenses and Certifications: Possession of a current South Australian Security Industry Licence and First Aid Certificate.
* Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and management skills with the ability to make decisive decisions in high-pressure situations.
* Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Time Management: Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
* Work Rights: Must have full working rights in Australia.
