Retail Truck Diesel Sales Manager required to spearhead our efforts in building and optimising a comprehensive diesel fuel network across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing and Operations of Retail Developing Diesel Fuel Network:
- Identify opportunities to expand and enhance our network of diesel sites
- Coordinate with operations and marketing teams to improve customer engagement
- Develop promotional and marketing strategies
- Identify operational issues and provide resolutions
- Identify new potential customers
- Grow the business in conjunction with the United Card team
Enhancing Customer Experience:
- Acquire and manage large commercial diesel customers to provide complete diesel fuel solutions, encompassing fuel cards, bulk diesel, and diesel tank infrastructure
- Implement initiatives to enhance services offered to diesel and commercial trucking customers
Acquisition of Large Commercial Customers:
- Identify opportunities for new business; liaise and work collaboratively with United's sales force
- Lead efforts to acquire large commercial customers requiring diesel fuel solutions
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to foster long-term partnerships
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving issues and addressing customer needs promptly
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide insights for improvement
Qualifications:
- Experience in the diesel fuel or related industry, with a strong understanding of fuel distribution networks.
- Experience acquiring and managing large commercial customers will be highly regarded
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
Willingness to travel as required, across Australia to meet with customers and oversee network operations.
