Job description

The RevOps Director is responsible for the effective deployment and ongoing measurement of systems that optimize revenue generation

About the Role
The Revenue Operations Director will join the team to set up forecast consistency, visibility and accuracy, formalise standard processes in our CRM and across our sales team, review territory coverage, update and maintain our sales playbook and drive sales enablement.
They will be responsible for the effective deployment and ongoing measurement of systems that optimize revenue generation. RevOps will be the single point where key Sales, Marketing & Customer Success reporting comes together to provide a clear and integrated picture of how the company is performing against its stated objectives.
RevOps will be responsible for forecast consistency, accuracy & ownership of key system operations aimed at enhancing customer journeys and fuelling scalable revenue growth through our Sales, Marketing and Customer success teams.
Responsibilities
  • In the first 30 days develop and improve forecast consistency, visibility and accuracy
  • Collaborating closely with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to streamline operations and enhance customer experiences
  • Ensuring Account Health through formalizing standards and processes designed to increase retention, increase upsell and expansion and provide early warning for potential non-renewals
  • Overseeing the integration and effective use of technology stacks, including CRM, marketing automation tools, customer success tools, technical support platforms and data analytics platforms
  • Developing and implementing strategies for process optimisation across sales, marketing and customer success, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Driving continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks in the revenue cycle and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Developing standardized sales processes: create or optimize existing standard operating procedures to ensure all sales reps have a standardized approach, to create consistency across the department for internal systems and customer interactions
  • Identifying Territory Coverage and Developing metrics and modelling to assess and assign ARR potential for each target account.
  • Researching & suggesting tactical and strategic initiatives to increase revenue.
  • Tracking and evaluating Revenue Operations metrics such as lead generation, lead conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, recurring revenue, pipeline growth, pipeline coverage, customer lifetime value, usage metrics, customer churn, customer retention, and more to provide leaders with actionable insights for their decision-making
  • Developing and maintaining standardized CRM dashboards for use across marketing, sales and customer success operations
  • Managing and analysing data from CRM (HubSpot) and other sales tools to provide actionable insights for revenue growth
  • Producing detailed monthly and quarterly reports to support sales, marketing and customer success teams
  • Creating and maintaining a global Sales Playbook, as a single document to capture the knowledge, tools and resources required for success
  • Creating a baseline Sales Enablement program, with the plans to expand in future
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, management, marketing or related areas
  • 15+ years working in business management, sales operations, sales planning, or Revenue Operations
  • Expert-level knowledge of CRM systems
  • Strong analytical, operational, problem-solving, planning, time management, and project management foundation
  • Highly proficient in financial modelling, revenue modelling, sales approaches, and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively and independently
