About the job:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Revenue and Metering Operations to join our team at SA Water. As the Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies and controls to optimise our water use revenue, while ensuring regional and contractor meter reading obligations are met to agreed standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive knowledge of contractual requirements for contract management, as well as a strong understanding of government and ESCOSA regulations and SA Water's governance framework.

Your responsibilities for this opportunity include:

  • Build and lead a collaborative and high-performing team, setting clear performance expectations and providing timely feedback.
  • Develop and implement strategies and support systems to ensure operational success and compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulations.
  • Manage and oversee the delivery of meter reading services, including contract management and performance monitoring.
  • Foster effective relationships with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver high-quality customer service and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Continuously drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost savings for SA Water.

Your success in this role will come from:
