About the Role
Lucas Drilling are looking for candidates to join our maintenance division someone who is hard-working, highly motivated and hold relevant competencies. As a leading provider of Drilling services, Lucas offer on the job / off the job training as well as career progression opportunities.
As a Lucas Rig Mechanic, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the day to day repairs and maintenance of the drill rigs and support equipment as well as be in charge of troubleshooting/working through mechanical breakdowns as they occur. You will have the opportunity to gain mechanical experience on Prime, American Auger, Sandvik, Schramm, UDR and KWL rigs among other auxiliary equipment including large triplex mud pumps, earthmoving equipment, trucks and trailers and much more.

Minimum Requirements
- Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter/ Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/ Plant Mechanic / Fixed Plant Mechanic
- Experience with maintenance, diagnostic, commissioning and troubleshooting of Heavy Plant
- Experience working with Hydraulics
Highly Regarded
- Experience working with Drill Rigs and associated plant & equipment (Preferred)
- Experience working on a roster and in remote areas (Preferred)
- Open, unrestricted HR License (Preferred)
