About The Role

The GRC Manager works collaboratively across PEXA to develop, embed and continuously improve the Group's enterprise risk framework and enable stakeholders to make risk-informed decisions.

The GRC Manager assists with driving the continuous improvement of and PEXA's adoption of policies, processes, systems and technology that enable risk awareness, profiling, assessment, monitoring, management and reporting, including incident management and reporting.

Key Accountabilities

  • Contribution to the continuous improvement of PEXA's risk management capability and risk-conscious decision-making through partnering with business leaders and other key stakeholders to uplift risk awareness and risk management participation across the Group
  • Managing key enterprise risk processes, including for Risk and Compliance obligation identification, rating, rating, assessment, measurement, treatment and monitoring, and for the oversight of risk incidents
  • Maintenance, including formal review and continuous improvement, publication and communication of PEXA's Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and guidance materials
  • Provision of ongoing advice and guidance for Risk and Compliance matters including privacy advice, impact assessments and education/awareness
  • Carry out or facilitate the conduct of risk-based assurance activity and support any other external or internal assurance activity that is the accountability of Group Risk and Compliance
  • Provision of guidance and testing of business resilience plans
  • Assistance with the preparation of management and board risk committee agendas and materials, providing insights and trends, together with debriefing and action-tracking post meetings
  • Maintenance of PEXA's GRC system

Skills and Experience

  • 3-5 years' enterprise risk experience, including with risk frameworks, policy, methodology and process for business partnering
  • Experience managing operational and Compliance risk in financial services, fintech, professional services or closely related sectors
  • Experience with enterprise risk management systems
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and demonstrating value to internal stakeholders
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills as demonstrated by experience facilitating risk workshops, delivering assurance findings or presentation at management meetings
