Build the Australian Risk & Compliance function, part of a global team

Can be based in Sydney or Melbourne

We are seeking an influential leader to create and develop a new Risk & Compliance function in an international law firm. This is a business-critical role for a Risk & Compliance Manager to work with the Global Head based in London, to implement an existing framework into the Australian offices, localising it appropriately. You will have experience implementing new compliance processes, training, reporting, quality standards (such as becoming accredited for ISO 9001:2015), audits, WHS compliance, data privacy compliance into a large business.

Requirements of the role:
You will currently work as a Risk & Compliance Manager in a law firm or other professional services business.
Ideally looking for similar experience implementing new frameworks or a range of quality and compliance policies. You will be localising an existing international framework (not creating something new).
Open to lawyers and non-lawyers, we’re looking for someone commercial with a real passion for risk & compliance
