As a Risk & Compliance Specialist, you will assist the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer build and maintain the risk and compliance framework for a diverse, technology centric financial services organisation. You'll be ready to roll your sleeves up to understand the business needs, work with colleagues on drafting new procedures, develop compliance processes, conduct risk assessments, compliance assurance, coordinate mandatory training, maintain registers, train new staff and much more.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and implementation of compliance and regulatory frameworks across the business, including superannuation, salary packaging and other financial products.
- Assist in maintaining Compliance Program schedule that aligns with Flare's compliance landscape and assurance requirements.
- Helping to maintain AFSL compliance documentation and registers.
- Preparing risk reporting to boards and committees
- Facilitating risk assessments, maintaining risk registers and working with the business on ensuring controls are appropriately developed and implemented.
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience in financial services, ideally including some experience in a risk or compliance role
- Passion for learning and naturally curious outlook
- Any exposure to superannuation, salary packaging or other financial services will be extremely beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to engage and create effective relationships with stakeholders
- High performer, looking to own their role and develop their career
