Join us in a dynamic role, where you will contribute to strengthening Boral's cyber defenses as our Cyber Governance Risk & Compliance Specialist. Reporting to the Cyber Security Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing cutting-edge cyber security standards and processes, and be the driving force behind shaping a security-conscious culture within Boral. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at our North Ryde office.
Your day will involve:
- Develop, deliver and maintain cyber security standards and processes to ensure data, information systems and Industrial Systems security across Boral.
- Provide into inputs into assessing risks IT services present and ensuring they meet the security standards (NIST Cyber Security Framework)
- Implement security risk tracking tools to provide input into the broader organisation's risk register.
- Deliver and maintain risk mitigation plan alongside IT stakeholders.
- Assess key vendors for compliance to Boral cyber security standards.
- Coordinate the internal and external audit processes and drive accountability for timely and quality resolution.
- Work with IT teams, vendors and business stakeholders to ensure adequate business continuity strategies are in place to protect Boral and its customers.
- Drive cyber safety awareness initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or Information Systems
- Qualifications in IT security - CISSP, CISM
- IT audit experience - CISA
- Experience developing and implementing a Cybersecurity approach using common information security management frameworks, such as International Standards Organization (ISO) 2700x, the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), NIST Framework, Mitre and ASD Top 10.
- Has successfully performed risk, business impact, control and vulnerability assessments, and in defining treatment strategies.
