We are a national team, co-located in each of the major Australian cities with the origination and client management teams that we support.We work closely with the business including direct connection with external customers to ensure the development of a thorough understanding of their businesses. This collaborative operating model must be balanced with the need to provide independent risk assessment. With the business heavily focused on growth, it can be a high-pressure environment; you must be able to work efficiently, be willing to back your own judgement and when appropriate, effectively and constructively challenge the business.Additionally, you will be given the opportunity to contribute to key strategic initiatives for Risk Management and Business Banking, focused on refining industry level appetite settings and creating efficiencies in the end-to-end credit origination and lending process.We're interested in hearing from people who have:Graduate or post graduate degrees in business or finance or related field.An ability to work autonomously and with absolute integrity.Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills; you must be able to influence at a range of levels within the organisation and across both Line 1 and Line 2. This includes representing transactions at Credit & Pricing Review Panel.Experience in a credit risk management position, including exercising a delegation ($30.0m or more), with a proven ability to provide sound, commercial and consistent risk decisions that are in the customers’ best interest.Working at CommBankAt CommBank, we support our people with the flexibility to balance where work is done with at least half their time each month connecting in office.
