Reporting to the Senior People and Culture Manager, the People and Culture Advisor will support the team in facilitating general HR and recruitment activities. The People and Culture Advisor will partner with key business units to provide operational support of generalist HR functions through the effective delivery of employee lifecycle activities including recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, performance management and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide guidance, advice and support throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for the Workshop and Distribution Centre.
- Assist in the development, application and implementation of ER policies, strategies and plans, negotiation and resolution of grievances and disputes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant R.M.W. Policies & Procedures, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, NES and legislation.
- Compile HR reports using key metrics and data to identify trends.
- 3+ years of experience in a HR Administrator/Coordinator role.
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience, in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Understanding of Australian industrial relations system and related legislation, Awards, EBA’s and NES.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end ER case management.
- Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS systems and ATS software.
- Excellent interpersonal, influential, and communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships across various functions.
