Job description

We are seeking an experienced Chemotherapy Registered Nurse for a temporary 12-month, part-time position.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will join our team to further enhance or develop existing skills in cancer nursing. The position involves the administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and related treatments.

Our team provides care and support of patients through diagnosis, treatment and palliative care for multiple types of cancers (such as breast, renal, pancreatic, colorectal, gastric, lung) and be responsible for providing evidenced-based care to Oncology patients as well as other conditions requiring specialist infusional care.

You will undertake and contribute to the multidisciplinary assessment, treatment and discharge planning of consumers, with assumed accountability and responsibility for his/her/their own practice based upon his/her/their level of educational preparation and competence.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term position working a minimum of 32 hours per fortnight

Salary:  Dependent on experience, as per award + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging

Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) is a rural health organisation that operates five campuses across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in the Central Highlands of Victoria in Australia, north and north-west of Melbourne. It was formed through the voluntary amalgamation of Hepburn Health Service and Kyneton District Health on the 30th November 2019.  Each of our campuses retains the name of the township in which they are situated - Clunes Health, Creswick Health, Daylesford Health, Kyneton Health, and Trentham Health.
