Overview
We are looking for multiple Registered Mental Health Nurses ready to make a positive impact in the lives of people with Mental Health challenges.
As the Mental Health Nurse, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of evidenced based, recovery-oriented services across the multi-disciplinary Local Health Network (LHN) Mental Health (MH) service appropriate to the needs of the consumer and the local community.
The Mental Health Nurse contributes to the delivery of integrated clinical Mental Health care to consumers across community, acute and rehabilitation services settings and will utilise and develop a combination of preventative, early intervention, therapeutic and evaluative approaches, including individual and family therapeutic approaches, group programs, health promotion and community development programs.
Eligibility
All applicants must be registered as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practising certificate and must hold or be working towards or willing to work towards a qualification in Mental Health nursing equivalent to a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing.
