The Opportunity
We need a switched-on General Worker to join the Fulton Hogan team in the Nelson City Maintenance Department.
This is an opportunity for all skill and experience levels! We are looking for a new team member who is keen to learn by supporting the maintenance crew support tasks within the Nelson City area. You will be a motivated and positive team player.
What you'll bring to the table
- Construction trade experience
- TMO / Traffic Management qualification or willingness to train in traffic management.
- Ability to positively interact with the public about work being completed.
- Full class 1 drivers' license, higher classes are an advantage.
- Willingness to be on call and work occasional night shifts / weekend work.
- An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match.
- Be self-motivated, driven to succeed and a team player.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
