Road Network Inspector

We are looking to appoint a Road Network Inspector based out of Melton, Victoria.

Downer's Road Services business, DM Roads, is one of the largest non-government owned road services businesses in Australia. We operate from a network of over 50 depots and maintain more than 33,000 km of road. We currently have unique opportunities within road maintenance activities across the Melton Shire. This is a long-term contract that will create a sustainable, vibrant, safe, accommodating Melton for all.

We are looking to appoint a Road Network Inspectorbased out of Melton, Victoria to undertake inspections of road assets. You will evaluate condition, identify repairs, suggest appropriate treatments, and document findings. This role would suit someone who has a high regard for safety and quality.

What you'll bring:

• Demonstrated experience in working with road assets, bridges, culverts, signs and barriers preferred
• Current Motor Vehicle license
• The ability to travel and work away from home for periods of time as required
• Current General Construction Induction card (preferred)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability with building relationships with key stakeholders
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Systems level proficiency with computer systems
• Strong commitment to maintaining a Zero Harm culture
