About the job
We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable person with Civil Construction labouring experience to join our Road Sign installations team. If you have a passion for a job well done, excellent organisational skills and enjoy a small, fast paced environment then this is the role for you.
Flexibility and adaptability will be required to perform a wide variety of sign installation tasks in response to the needs of our clients. We have a large and varied number of install projects to deliver on. You will be responsible for the installation of road and traffic signage around Sydney and occasionally, regional NSW.
This is a full time role involving day and night shifts, over time and occasional travel to regional areas with overnight stays. You will be working as part of a close knit group, usually two up.
About You
To be considered for the position you must meet the following minimum requirements –
- Current NSW Truck License, MR or higher, or a willingness to obtain a truck license upon commencement
- Work Health and Safety General Induction Card and dedication to safe work practices
- Ability to read and interpret written specifications, plans and technical drawings
- Experience with powered and hand tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members, contractors and clients
- A high level of physical fitness, able to work at heights, perform heavy lifting and digging
- Ability to work nights and occasionally travel and stay overnight for project works in rural areas
- Good spoken and written English
- The right to live and work in Australia permanently
Experience installing Road Signs is not essential as training will be provided to the right candidate. However, applicants with a background in the Road Signage industry will be highly regarded.
