In this role, you'll:

• Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools  
• Road and corridor maintenance works such as vegetation and delineation maintenance, minor pavement patching and maintenance of supporting infrastructure such as drainage structures.
• Work collaboratively with the team including Team Leaders and Works Supervisors to manage the day-to-day operations and tasks as well as resolve issues that may arise
• Travel  throughout the region to attend worksites including attending call outs  where required
• Keep up to date with WHS legislation and policies and procedures as it relates to minimising risk and keeping to safe work standards                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

About you

We’re seeking a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments.

You are a practical thinker, quick learner and great communicator who enjoys being physically active performing outdoor manual tasks involving the use of hand tools and equipment within a team setting.
 
You must hold the following qualifications:
 

• White Card
• Current driver’s licence

You must have previous experience as a Road Worker Grade 1-3 level or related civil construction experience.

You will live within 100km radius of Eden works depot and are prepared to work outside normal working hours, attend callouts, travel across the district and work away from home when needed.
