We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Robotic Welder Team Leader to join our friendly and inclusive fabrication team at our facility in Scoresby. Working as part of the Production Leadership Team, this role will involve activities associated with Robot welding including, cost reduction & process improvement initiatives within Fabrication Robotic Cells.
Responsibilities include:
• Assist Engineers in developing and implementing jigs and fixtures associated with automation.
• Aid in scoping improvement projects by analysing inefficiencies in the welding process.
• Work closely with production to implement solutions.
• Assist in factory supervision and other projects as required.
• Investigating issues and suggesting improvement ideas.
• Training, mentoring, and guiding team members in new processes.
• Staying up to date with developments in management and process optimisation.
• Ensure the accuracy of welded components.
What we’re looking for:
• A good understanding of OH&S and reporting systems.
• Discover training needs and provide training.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional precision and efficiency in Robotic Welding Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.
• Experience using ABB Manual Guide controller operation and programming.
• Experience using Robot Studio.
• Experience using Virbotics.
• Experience with steel fabrication and welding.
• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
