About the Position
A&RT is seeking Mechatronic Engineers to join our growing engineering team in its NSW and VIC offices that posses robotic machinery and/or industrial automation background. The role will be varied, and challenging, and require strong mechanical, electrical, and control system capabilities coupled with top-end problem-solving skills. The candidate will need to be well organized, and work efficiently in all aspects of high-end automation equipment. A&RT has a large customer base that includes many top food and pharmaceutical companies that will demand travel locally, and interstate thru Australia and New Zealand.
The position involves all areas of supplying high-end industrial mechatronic equipment with regard to engineering, designing, programming, assembly, testing, installation, commissioning, and follow-up support. This position is a key role in our industry-leading engineering team.
The successful applicant is required to:
- Have tertiary qualifications and/or relevant technical experience in industrial packaging equipment, Mechatronic, and Robotic based equipment.
- Be a competent communicator and have great attention to detail.
- Possess sound industrial electrical and mechanical skills.
- Have an advanced level of programming PC, PLC and Robot-based systems.
- Be able to solve problems, and think critically in high-paced production environments.
- Be comfortable working in a team and autonomously without the need for supervision.
- Be able to deal directly with customers and senior management on reporting requirements, and document writing.
- Be willing and able to travel to client operations and be site-based for short periods.
- Be outgoing, energetic, and confident.
- Have good values, and a positive perspective.
