Operations Technology is the engine room of the CBA Group dedicated to running, improving and transforming the processes that deliver products and services to the CBA Group’s customers. If you have taken out a home loan; opened a Commsec account; used an ATM; applied for a credit card; made an international funds transfer; or completed Productivity training, then you have interacted with one of the many aspects of Operations Technology.

As part of the Robotics Team you will join a team providing 24x7 support for Robotics Process Automation services. You’ll be enabling robotics process automation capabilities with the goal of driving best customer experience for CBA Group’s services. The robotics fleet enables automation for various CBA Group services including processing home loans, payments, settlements and other financial services products.
As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you’ll be collaborating and partnering with the Robotics Automation Team to identify and implement automation opportunities to drive down operational toil, reduce technical debt and improve resiliency of automated processes and the platform itself. You’ll be driving and leading implementing Test Automation and uplifting practices for SDLC and release management.
We’re interested in hearing from people who
Are passionate and experienced Robotics Processing Automation and/or Intelligent Automation Engineers with zest for innovation
Are passionate and driven about automation and reliability engineering; and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver meaningful customer outcomes
Have proven experience in implementing Test Automation in RPA space
Have proven experience in improving SDLC and release management practices
Have solid hands on experience with Blue Prism RPA and Platform management
Have experience and exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate)
Are ready to undertake any other tasks assigned by your manager that you have the capability to perform safely in line with relevant internal Bank policies and external regulatory requirements
Are proficient in developing, implementing and supporting RPA solutions
Tech skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We do not expect you to know them all. Experience or exposure with some of these, or a willingness to learn these skillsets (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team.
Robotics Process Automation products and RPA Platform Management : Blue Prism, Power Automate Desktop
Experience on Power Platform products: Power Automate and Power Apps
Experience in implementing Test Automation with products such as Selenium or using RPA products itself to automate testing
Coding languages such as Powershell, .NET, Python
SDLC; CI/CD and common ecosystems; and toolchains
Strong troubleshooting skills and passion for driving reliability engineering
