Based at our Mayne depot in Bowen Hills, our Presentation Attendants clean and provision City Network Rollingstock and Maintenance facilities and equipment to Queensland Rail standards to help ensure a safe and pleasant customer experience for our City Network customers.Working on a four-week, 24/7 shift roster, your focus will be cleaning the inside of train carriages (including the emptying of bathroom facilities), cleaning locomotive windscreens and removing exterior graffiti using a pressure washer and chemicals.Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include
- Perform cleaning and presentation duties including graffiti removal as directed.
- Use instructions and Material Safety Data Sheets for all cleaning products.
- Communicate to staff and supervisors in person, by telephone and radio efficiently and effectively, fill out logbooks, check sheets and timecards in a legible manner.
- Provide customer service by following Quality Standards, Work Instructions and procedures to ensure thorough and timely cleaning of trains.
- Ensure that all work practices are carried out in accordance with Queensland Rail Environmental Management System
- Substantial skill in working co-operatively and productively in a team environment
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, product application and safe usage
- Sound knowledge of Quality initiatives, Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental Management
- Excellent communication skills - with ability to establish and develop working relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to be agile and highly adaptable to changing plans/ targets
