About the role:
We are seeking multiple Housekeeping Attendants to join our team on a casual basis, reporting to the Executive Housekeeper. You'll be responsible for cleaning guest rooms to a premium standard and will be required to vacuum, dust, clean bathrooms, change linen, make beds and replenish amenities in a timely and efficient manner.
You’ll have interactions with guests, so we’re looking someone who can provide excellent customer service and attend to guest needs in a friendly and professional manner.
Part Time positions for the right candidates will be available
Key responsibilities:
- Be an energetic team member who can attend to guest's needs
- Ensure guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms are replenished to the correct standards for the room type.
- Report any lost property following correct procedures
- Clean and maintain all housekeeping equipment during and after assigned shift
- Clean guest rooms, storage areas and corridors as allocated to the required standard.
- Ensures high cleanliness and productivity standards are met and kept in accordance to company guidelines
- Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturer’s instructions.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Previous experience working in a housekeeping department or a commercial cleaning setting is desirable
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions
- Flexibility to work a minimum 3-day rotating roster including mornings from 8am – 3pm and weekends.
- Experience in high pressure environment
