You will be responsible for engaging our guests and customers by providing them with the utmost in customer service. You will create memorable guest experiences by efficiently assisting our guests in a friendly and engaging manner.
About the role
In your new role you will be responsible for providing the highest level of attention to the cleanliness and maintenance of the guest rooms whilst ensuring that your daily tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Hilton Adelaide is a seven day a week, 24 hour a day business and you may be required to work during any of these operating times.
Duties/responsibilities
Clean guest rooms in line with the Hilton Brand Service Standards so that guests comment on the cleanliness and return to the hotel on multiple visits through attention to detail when cleaning rooms including air vents, shower grates and Kettles
Manage and maintain a clean and tidy working environment including storage areas and trolleys
Report any missing or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor
Work safely with chemicals and equipment to assist with the cleaning process whilst maintaining safe practices of work
Answer guest queries in a polite and helpful manner
Work with the Housekeeping Department to ensure a high level of customer service standards
Maintain the productivity levels set by the hotel whilst ensuring that company standards are met
Flexibility with rostered times is essential – shifts times vary, you may start as early as 5:00am and finish as late as 9:30pm depending on the shift you are working and based on business demands
Participate in cleaning and maintaining public area spaces in the hotel
Action miscellaneous job request in relation to public area and guest rooms
Conducting duties such as delivery of linen, towels and rollaway beds
Attend to the pool, gym and public bathrooms ensuring cleanliness of the areas as well as sanitization and stock levels
Shifting stock and manage stock par level of cleaning materials for the Housekeeping department
Assisting in various areas of the Housekeeping department where help is needed
Manual handling to rearrange furniture set up in guest rooms and to fix broken furniture
Maintain Room Attendant equipment such as vacuum cleaners
Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturer’s instructions.

It would be advantageous for you to demonstrate the following capabilities:
- Experience in a similar position within a 5 star hotel or resort environment
- Work a variety of shifts including; weekends, days, afternoons and evenings
