About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who is able to deliver on various business service projects within the construction, government, and private sectors. This person will be able to interpret architectural/engineering drawings, in order to understand a scope of works and transfer interpretations and information to project personnel.
A strong knowledge of the industrial safety market, available products and service solutions, and a good understanding of the requirements for safety systems is essential.
This role will be responsible for the management of the Rope access Team of the Sydney Branch, with a focus on quality management, client communications, and the management of the project pipeline, whilst maintaining adequate staffing and training requirements.
Reporting to the NSW Branch Manager, this position will act as the lynch pin between RIGCOM and their Clients.
About You
The right candidate for this role will have outstanding stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally. They will be able to adjust their management style with clients and ensure quoted works are completed on time, or any variation of works is communicated and charged accordingly to the clients.
You will professionally represent RIGCOM at all times, displaying our Culture and Values, whilst building and instilling these values in your direct reports.
You will have the following:
- Rigging experience (essential)
- Rope Access Qualification (Variety of Experience essential)
- Experience or a working knowledge in construction, manufacturing or other related industries
- Construction White Card (essential)
- Working at Height Certificate (essential)
- Manual Drivers Licence (essential)
- Project budget and cost control reporting
- Overseeing design and documentation development
- Site inspections, meetings and reporting
Whilst this role will be primarily based at Head Office in Seven Hills, you will also be expected to attend construction sites, and on some occasions, you may be asked to work away from home. Any expenses incurred working away from home are reimbursed by RIGCOM.
