Rope Access Site Supervisor
The Role:
SRG Global are looking for a Rope Access Site Supervisor for long term and ongoing FIFO opportunities from Perth.
Keen to take your career to the next stage? We are seeking Site Supervisors to provide on-site support to our Rope Access teams for Shut down and project works in the Pilbara and Port Headland region.
We have a 5-year contract for ongoing maintenance and shutdown works servicing Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) mine, rail, and port locations throughout the Pilbara and Port Hedland region.

Flexibility:
- Casual Flat Rate - $86 DS / $92 NS
- Super paid on all hours.
- 12-13 Hour Days
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Site Supervision role involving Rope Access.
- Extensive experience in Iron Ore mining.
- IRATA Qualification.
- Safety Awareness Training Card (white card)
- Section 44/Scheduled 26 Training – Appointed Persons.
- Trade Certificate – Cert III Fabrication.
- Pass a pre-employment medical.
- Hold a current driver’s license.
- Strong computer systems skills and knowledge.
- A qualification in Management (e.g. Frontline Management) would be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision of multi-disciplined trade personnel on projects and shutdowns completing fixed plant maintenance and upgrades along with various other scopes. Trades will include Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitter, NDT Technicians, and Riggers.
- Liaise with the Site Manager as required throughout the day, to review project workload.
- Scoping of potential works during estimation phase to advise on correct manning and equipment levels.
- Supervise Rope Access and Trade activities on designated projects/shutdowns.
- Coordination and distribution of workload to personnel in an efficient manner.
- Assist site administration in the preparation of project roster and manning levels prior to mobilizing.
- Ensure Rope Access jobs are inspected at regular intervals as required under Client’s guidelines, Company Procedures, IRATA, ICoP, and OSH’s regulations.
- Monitor the equipment to ensure compliance with legislative and IRATA requirement.
- Ensure compliance with all specific legislative and site requirements.
