Blast And Paint Rope Access Manager

SMS are seeking a Blast and Paint Rope Access Manager to join the team in Welshpool.

Primary Role

• Assisted with customer enquiries, including quotes, estimates, equipment, transport, and labour scheduling.
• Be the senior person of Project Leads to ensure Customer/Contract requirements are met.
• Arrange, coordinate, and monitor all site requirements per quotes and budgets.
• Effectively coordinate all site-based requirements in consultation with the administration, Recruitment team and supervisors.
• Develop, implement, and steward site-specific KPIs.
• Facilitate and assure Improvement Plans and actions.
• Contribute to the completion of bids and proposals, including site visits and customer interface.
• Identify and implement best practices in all areas of Project Delivery.
• Conduct regular site visits for customer interaction and auditing.
• Provide governance and leadership of the Project Delivery WHS, Risk and Quality programs, and
• Provide access to training, mentoring and personal development of members of the Project Delivery teams.
• Blast and Paintwork pack vetting and managing paint schedule.

Secondary role (when business needs require):

• Provide coverage and support where needed on-site during shutdowns and when Site Leads are not available as a Level 3 or supervisor.
• Assist with interviewing and onboarding new personnel as part of the SMS recruitment vetting system.
• Assist with data gathering and essential incident investigation on site.
• Identify possible additional revenue streams during site visits.
• Assist with VOCs when required.

Mandatory Checks:
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination and provide a police check/criminal background clearance as a part of the final recruitment process.
