Villa Terenzio is part of Italian Aged Care Incorporated, a Charitable Not for Profit Organisation. We provide Residential Aged Care Services for 192 residents at Villa Terenzio in Marangaroo in Perth's Northern Suburbs. Villa Terenzio is celebrating its 50th year serving the community.
About the role
We are looking for a dedicated, talented and forward thinking full time Roster Clerk to schedule and coordinate the rosters for all 300 residential care staff at Villa Terenzio.
What you will be doing
- Manage and administer staff rostering around their availability and allowing an excellent work life balance for all staff
- Making sure staff levels are sufficiently rostered in all 7 areas to ensure the correct level of care to residents with age care standards.
- Manage and negotiate any roster changes with all internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communication with all staff and stakeholders
- Ability to autonomously manage workload and time
- Working as part of the staff support team and liaising with staff.
About you
- Experience of using the rostering program Human force isn’t essential but will be held in high regard.
- Aged Care Experience desirable
- Previous experience in a rostering/scheduling position.
- Strong knowledge of all Microsoft office programs
- Ability to show strong problem solving skills in a fast paced environment
- Excellent time management skills as well as forward thinking
- Excellent communication skills to be able to build rapport with all staff.
- Must provide evidence or willingness to receive Covid 19 vaccinations, influenza vaccination and a valid Police Clearance
