As a Rostering Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our participants receive the appropriate support by effectively managing staff rosters and schedules. Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage staff rosters for multiple sites, ensuring that participant support requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate and allocate appropriate staff resources based on participant needs, team availability, and skill sets.
- Collaborate with site leaders, participant experience team members, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and coordination of schedules.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of team availability, leave requests, and shift changes.
- Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or gaps to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
- Respond promptly to team availability changes, leave requests, and other scheduling adjustments.
- Communicate and coordinate with participants and their families to confirm support schedules and address any scheduling concerns.
- Liaise with senior leadership and finance/payroll department to ensure compliance with relevant employment agreements, regulations, and organisational policies.
- Provide regular reports and updates on rostering activities to the senior leadership team.
- Identify opportunities to optimise rostering processes and systems for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in rostering or scheduling, preferably within the disability or healthcare sector.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, participants, and their families.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to manage complex scheduling requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in rostering software or scheduling systems. Knowledge in Brevity is most desirable.
- Knowledge of relevant employment agreements, regulations, and Fair Work compliance requirements.
- Understanding of the NDIS framework and its implications for rostering and service delivery in line with SCHADS award.
