Rostering Services Support Officer

The role:
In accordance with established policies, guidelines, systems and processes the Rostering Services Support Officer will support best practice in respect to data integrity and security of information within the ProAct Rostering System and will provide:

• Effective rostering and Award/payroll administrative assistance and support to Hospitals North Managers and relevant stakeholders, using the rostering and payroll systems utilised by the Department of Health.
• Administrative support, including training, for managers/stakeholders on rostering and system related issues, including collation of staffing related management reports.
• Administrative and clerical support to the Team Leader - Rostering and Information Office.

Details of Appointment
Permanent, part time, day worker position working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing from 18 March 2024
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

• Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary: $71,661 to $77,455 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted: * Conviction checks in the following areas:

• crimes of violence
• sex related offences
• serious drug offences
• crimes involving dishonesty
• Identification check
• Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
