Job Opportunity: Rostering Team leader at 24Care
Position Overview:
24Care is seeking a dedicated Rostering Team leader to join our lively and committed team, playing a crucial role in streamlining operations for our disability and nursing workforce. Reporting to the Service and Operations Manager and working closely with Service Delivery Team Leaders, this full-time role is tailor-made for someone keen to embed themselves in a culture driven by 24Care's Values.
Responsibilities:
- Craft and manage staff rosters, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies, cost-effectiveness, and fair practices
- Oversee payroll operations, including accurate data entry, and validation of staff hours and adjustments
- Serve as a pillar of support for other HR functions, aiding in the seamless running of 24Care operations
- Engage in projects and initiatives related to improving 24Care services.
- Foster a supportive and cooperative team atmosphere
- Offer comprehensive administrative support across various functions such as report generation, correspondence, and compliance checks
- Gain and maintain an in-depth understanding of relevant awards and legislative requirements affecting the care sector
Essential Skills and Experience:
- A background in tertiary education or substantial experience in a caregiving environment
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities, with a flair for building strong professional relationships with Nurses, Allied Health, Support workers, and Stakeholders
- Initiative, independence, and a quick learning curve
- Capable of handling dense workloads in a dynamic environment, with meticulous attention to detail and competing priorities
- Proficient in both traditional and modern administrative tools, including MS Office and sophisticated software systems
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Attributes:
- Familiarity with rostering or payroll procedures, and the ability to navigate employment conditions within the NDIS, Disability Care sector
- Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment and remuneration processes with the ability to interpret employment conditions for staff
-Experience working with the software Caremaster or a similar rostering platform

-Managing and negotiating roster schedule changes and goal-oriented.
