The candidate will be appointed as the Prevention and Protection Service Manager (RSPP Qualification, Macrosector 3 - Construction), relating to all the Australian entities of the Clough Webuild Group, both administrative and operational.
The candidate, with years of experience in the infrastructure sector (roads, railway lines, subways, hydroelectric, etc.), in addition to guarantee the compliance with the Italian Safety law, i.e. the Legislative Decree. 81/08 and subsequent amendments, relating to the activities carried out by the Italian staff on site, will have a role within the Clough QHSE structure (and reporting to the QHSE Manager), providing support in disseminating the QHSE guidelines, ensuring the compliance with ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 standards, as well as verify its correct implementation on all Australian project sites.
The identified resource will be able to fill a role focused on HSE management and accreditation systems, rather than aimed at providing support to existing projects' sites.
In particular, the resource shall:

• Collaborating in detecting OHS dangers, assessing risks and defining prevention and protective measures connected to activities/plants/processes.
• Develop and implement prevention and protection programs to reduce risks in the workplace;
• Being able to collaborate in drafting of project documentation;
• Ensure the systematic assessment of the adequacy of the project's SMSs (Safety Management Systems), and checking its effective implementation by executing inspections and audits;
• Take part in the investigation of incidents, carrying out analyses, identifying the causes and relevant corrective actions, monitoring that they are implemented and assessing their effectiveness. Draw-up the relevant reports and lessons learned;
• Monitor the effectiveness of safety measures and suggest improvements when necessary;
• Monitoring the project's HSE performance.

Skills required:

• 7 years of experience at this job
• Civil Engineering University Degree or equivalent
• Experience in the construction sector
• Qualified as 45001 Lead Auditor;
• Experience in environmental protection;
• Preferred qualification of 14001 Lead auditor;
• Good knowledge of plants & equipment;
• Knowledge of risk analysis and assessment techniques;
• Good knowledge of the main IT softwares;
• Proficient in English.

The ideal candidate must also have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in teams, and a flexible, results-orientated approach.
