Volt Edge is a privately owned Registered Training Organisation in Australia that provides Electrical post trade training to Electricians Australia wide.

We have an outstanding track record as an RTO and as such have developed an exceptional reputation as a quality training provider in the growing Electrical industry. Our Head Office is in Northgate, Brisbane with the ability to train Australia Wide.

Due to internal promotion, a role has become available for a motivated, friendly, genuine person to support our very busy training compliance department. The successful candidate will have amazing multi-tasking skills that can handle juggling many things at once with the utmost efficiency and have the capacity to work in a fast paced work environment.

Position Outline

The Compliance Administration Officer is responsible for aiding in RTO compliance and ensuring business systems operate efficiently. This role is responsible for aiding in the development and implementation of new business ideas and enacting plans to ensure the RTO is operating compliantly.

Position will be a salary position with an RDO monthly.

The position will be responsible for:

COMPLIANCE

  • Assist in reporting and data analysis of compliance requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.
  • Assist in internal audits and risk assessments as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance requirement.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external clients and stakeholders.
  • Understand and grow knowledge of VET industry and RTO standards.

BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AND BUSINESS SYSTEMS

  • Coordinate and undertake the implementation and integration of new software and programs as directed.
  • Coordinate and undertake training of new software and programs with relevant parties.
  • Coordinate and assist with new business implementation.

OTHER

  • Assist in increasing additional sources of revenue and develop growth of the current revenue streams.
  • Other duties as required/directed by the business.

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years previous administration experience preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of using database systems
  • Intermediate typing speed
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Basic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan and priorities own workloads to meet deadlines
  • High level organisational and time management skills
