About the role

The Director, Workforce Capability will lead the
development and assessment of organisation wide frameworks
to understand workforce needs and lead capability
development. The Director will lead, manage and oversee the
delivery of structured and scaled activities including the
development, implementation and continuous improvement of
department wide talent, performance and development
programs, leadership capability frameworks, induction and
onboarding programs, recognition events, diversity and
inclusion initiatives and employee survey activities.
The Director, Workforce Capability will manage and
oversee the delivery of high quality professional learning
across the department and lead the development of
organisational capability though the design and delivery of
key organisational development programs and initiatives and
creating a culture of learning that enables our people to
be their best.
Qualifications
and competencies:
Strong
leadership skills with experience in leading teams and
establishing a culture of performance, professionalism and
continuous improvement.
In-depth
knowledge gained in education including relevant tertiary
qualifications.
Proven high
level interpersonal and negotiation skills with
demonstrated success achieving impact through collaborative
practice and influence with stakeholders.

Special
Conditions:
The
successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human
Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to
being employed which is required to be renewed every five years
before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake
RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect
- Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended
course which will be required to be updated every three
years.
